JONAH RELEASES NEW MUSIC VIDEO #ZIMBABWE

“Zimbabwe” is Jonah Jo-e Sithole’s brand new single and cover of the reggae legend Bob Marley’s song also entitled “Zimbabwe”. The Single is produced and sung by Jonah himself with the guidance of Farhaan Kazz Khan & Abra Simzzz . The song has been sung many times over the years but not in the manner, fashion Jonah did. The song has a combination of various genres including, reggae, Jazz, R&B and soul. Jonah’s love for RnB music is definitely undeniable, with his vocal presence, melodies, dynamics all involved, it impressively comes together amazingly.

What may be most impressive about the single is the passion with which the song is sung portraying the current ‪#‎thisflag‬ movement that has flooded social media and has united Zimbabweans worldwide under one vision. Currently based in Indonesia Jonah was moved by his recent visit to a Zimbabwe, that was once known as the breadbasket of Africa.

He saw how many of his family and friends endured the hardships of daily life. The single inspires and reminds Zimbabweans of the struggles they and their fathers went through to gain freedom, but do they really have freedom? Freedom is described as the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Reverting to what the Flag of Zimbabwe stands for this song was sung passionately, by a young man focused on seeing a Zimbabwe that is truly a house of stone and as Jonah states in the single, “ I do this for my Zimbabwe”
