This year has been a journey and some. Kazz has released singles, covers, worked with various talented artists, done a few live performances and just recently the multi talented musician welcomed the latest addition to his family. His baby boy Ziyaan-Khalif Khan.
The aspiring pop star has been enthusiastic from day one, he’s liked by some and loved by plenty. His effort, time and consistency have proven that he truly is a very talented artist. His love for the music is what has kept us all excited and ready to see what he intends to come up with next. Today we see the launch of his latest single “Kudana (Calling You Up)”.
We took a moment to catch up with Kazz and find out why he decided to go with a title and song like this, here’s what he had to say. “My inspiration for writing this song was literally looking at my wife telling me that she wouldn’t call me if she went into labour because I didn’t answer the phone when she called. It made me chuckle a little as I knew she was joking but what she was saying made perfect sense. What is the point in having a phone and not answering it, may as well not have one” “That basically got the thought process going and I really had to think about what the various reasons for not answering the phone are and then I came up with this track” We know Kazz is quite the versatile act when it comes to music, he doesn’t just stick to one genre, he wants to cover them all and he’s made it pretty clear that he does this extremely well.
