We caught up with Kazz and this is what he had to say; “Madhau is a song that recognises the shift in gender specific roles. The time of expectations from men and woman are no longer specific to man or woman. The story highlights how society has played a big role in the change in attitude and respect to those we love. In every relationship, respect comes from love, without love, how does one show respect?”.
MADHAU is a catchy Afro House track written by Tanaka Siziba & Kazz Khalif, produced by Sammy Jay who brought a fusion of R&B and Amapiano that sees Kazz deliver passionate vocals in both English & his native Zimbabwean mother tongue (Shona). Kazz & Tanaka say the inspiration of the song came from a Zimbabwean legend, Alick Macheso.
